Professional Cookery (QQI Level 5)
This full-time one-year programme will equip students with the necessary skills to go directly into the workplace or to pursue further study in a culinary area. Culinary skills are in high demand in Ireland and abroad, so employment prospectus are excellent.
Work placement/work experience maybe a core feature/element programmes in this field facilitating the enhancement of employability and transversal skills.

€50 QQI Level 5 Certification Fee – Medical Card holders or those in receipt of a Social Welfare payment are exempt from this Certification Fee.
VTOS: If you are over 21 years of age, are unemployed and have been getting certain social welfare payments for at least 6 months you can apply for the Vocational Training and Opportunities Scheme (VTOS). Successful applicants can receive a VTOS payment for the duration of the course, instead of their social welfare payment. Small meal and travel allowances may also apply.
