This full-time one-year programme is aimed at anyone interested in the agricultural and science sectors. It aims to equip students with knowledge of the evolving agri-science related industries. It also aims to inform students on up-to-date organic and renewable farming practices.

Leaving Certificate or QQI Level 4, or equivalent standard of education. All applicants are subject to an interview and an online assessment. Garda Vetting may also be required, depending on work placement setting.

€50 QQI Level 5 Certification Fee – Medical Card holders or those in receipt of a Social Welfare payment are exempt from this Certification Fee.
VTOS: If you are over 21 years of age, are unemployed and have been getting certain social welfare payments for at least 6 months you can apply for the Vocational Training and Opportunities Scheme (VTOS). Successful applicants can receive a VTOS payment for the duration of the course, instead of their social welfare payment. Small meal and travel allowances may also apply.
